Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- Police arrested an accused of Abu Sayeed murder case at Rangpur from Gangapara village in Islampur Upazila in Jamalpur district early Sunday.

The arrsted man is Emran Chowdhury Akash, a member of the banned Bangladesh Chhattra League (BCL) Isampur Upazila Unit.

Acting on a tip off, a team of Islampur Police Station conducted a raid in the area and arrested him from his house at around 2;00AM.

He is the 58th accused of the martyred Abu Sayed murder case in the Rangpur district.
