Dhaka, Oct. 16 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to file a case against Mahi Badruddoza Chowdhury, joint secretary general of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh, for allegedly accumulating illegal wealth worth over Tk20.5 crore and concealing information in his wealth statement.ACC Deputy Director Akhtarul Islam confirmed the decision to the media on Wednesday.

According to the ACC investigation, Mahi B Chowdhury allegedly hid assets worth Tk9.68 crore and submitted false and misleading information in his wealth declaration. The probe also found that he possessed assets valued at Tk20.69 crore that could not be explained by his known income sources.
