Dhaka, June 19 -- Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) conducted a raid at Chattogram Regional Election Commission office on Wednesday over allegations of irregularities related to the correction of national identity cards (NIDs).
The operation was led by Emran Hossain, Assistant Director of the Chattogram ACC Integrated Office-1.
During the raid, a four-member ACC team interviewed senior officials from both the Regional Election Commission and the District Election Commission offices to investigate the alleged irregularities.
According to sources, ACC is probing four NID corrections that have remained unresolved for a long time.
