Dhaka, July 29 -- The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against 17 people including former Vice-Chancellor of Khulna Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Md. Shahidur Rahman Khan, on charges of unlimited corruption and nepotism in the appointment of registrars, officials and employees.
Sumitra Sen, Deputy Director of the ACC's Khulna Integrated District Office, filed the case as the plaintiff on Sunday.
The other accused in the case are - former Registrar of Khulna Agricultural University Khandaker Mazharul Anwar, appointed branch officer of the university Md. Jasim Uddin, accounting officer Murad Billah, office assistant cum computer typist Anisur Rahman Rintu, administrative officer Sultan Mahmud, administrative work...
