Dhaka, June 13 -- Md. Moni Mallick, Chairman of Dema Union Parishad of Bagerhat Sadar Upazila and general secretary of District Krishak League, was rescued by the Detective Branch of Khulna Metropolitan Police ( DB, KMP) from City's TB Boundary Road area of Khulna on Wednesday night, (June 11). He was admitted to the hospital under police supervision on Thursday morning (June 12).Moni Mallick claims that it was not a kidnapping, he was taken away to be killed.
