Dhaka, March 19 -- A Cumilla court on Monday placed Jagannath University (JNU) student Raihan Siddique Amman and Assistant Proctor Din Islam on two-day and one-day remand respectively in the case filed about instigating the death by suicide of JNU law student Fairuz Abantika.

The police pleaded a five-day remand for Amman and two-day remand for Din Islam and Senior Judicial Magistrate Abu Bakar Siddique of Cumilla court passed the order.

The court also ordered to submit the investigation report within the next seven working days.

The two accused were brought to the Cumilla court around 10:45am in connection with the case filed over instigating suicide of Fairuz Abontika, a JNU student.
