Dhaka, Dec. 20 -- BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, has successfully undergone a medical procedure on Friday, said Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, a BNP Standing Committee member and her personal physician.

He made the remarks while speaking to journalists in front of Evercare Hospital on Friday afternoon.

Stating that the former prime minister's physical condition is currently stable, Zahid Hossain said there has been no deterioration in Khaleda Zia's health.

Zahid Hossain said, "Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital continuously for nearly a month since 23 November.
