Dhaka, Nov. 30 -- A case lodged with Fakirhat Model Police Station (PS) under Bagerhat on charges of raping a 9-year-old girl.
Even though 3 weeks have passed since the case was lodged, the accused has not been arrested yet. He has been absconding since the incident.
Citing the case, the police said that on October 30 at around 8 am, the child's father left home for work in Kamta village of Naldha-Moubhog Union within the Upazila.
At around 10 am, the mother went to her father's house for a visit. The child was alone at home at the time of the incident.
At around 11-30 am on that day, the child was playing with other children in the neighboring house.
