Dhaka, Nov. 3 -- The Traffic Division of the Dhaka MetropolitanPolice (DMP) has filed 867 cases against motor vehicles and drivers forviolating traffic rules in a single day across the capital.
A media release of the DMP today said that they filed those cases andrealised the money on Saturday (November 1) through their regular drivesagainst the traffic rule breakers.
A total of 271 motor vehicles were dumped and 92 vehicles were wrecked due topoor driving practices, said Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media andPublic Relations Division) of the DMP.
