Dhaka, Feb. 3 -- A court on Monday granted a two-day remand for seven people, including Salman F Rahman, the former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, and former law minister Anisul Huq in a case lodged over the murder of autorickshaw driver Hafizul during the student-led July-August mass uprising.
The other remanded accused are Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Dr Dipu Moni, Atiqul Islam, AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, and Golam Sarwar Pintu.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiak passed the order as police produced the seven accused before the court and pleaded to place them on a five-day remand each in the case lodged with the capital's Badda Police Station, reports BSS.
