Dhaka, July 30 -- 29 July 2025 63 lost mobile phones and 1 hacked Facebook ID worth Tk 12.60 lakhs have been recovered in a technology-based operation by the Cyber Crime Cell of 2 Armed Police Battalion (2 APBN), Muktagachha, Mymensingh.
The operation was conducted under the direction of Additional DIG Md. Qutub Uddin, Commander of 2 APBN.
These mobile phones and Facebook IDs were identified and recovered based on the victims' social media and a total of 63 General Diaries (GDs) filed with various police stations across the country.
The recovered items were handed over to the rightful owners by Additional DIG Md. Qutub Uddin, Commander of 2 APBN, in a ceremony at the 2 APBN headquarters on 29 July 2025.
