Dhaka, April 12 -- A 550-year-old traditional fair called 'Chaitra Sankranti Mela' will begin at the shrine of Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali (R) in Bagerhat from Sunday.
Marking the fair, the organizers have already taken various arrangements and thousands of men and women from different districts of the country are flocking to the fair premises to participate.It is known that the fair is being held regularly at the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali (R) during the full moon of Bangla month Chaitra. The fair will officially begin on Sunday morning and will continue till Tuesday evening, reports BSS.
