Dhaka, Feb. 27 -- The Bangladesh Police has transferred and appointed 53 officers to different units including 19 additional DIGs, 33 superintendents of police, and one additional superintendent of police, as part of ongoing efforts to streamline police operations.
The Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Security Division announced the transfers on Thursday through two separate notifications issued by its Police-1 branch.
According to one of the notifications, Additional DIG Md Abul Kalam Azad from the Mymensingh Range has been transferred to APBN-1 in Dhaka, while Additional DIG Sardar Rokonuzzaman from 8th APBN has been transferred to the CID, and Khurshidul Islam from DMP has been transferred to RAB, along with 21 other officers.
