Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- A major reshuffle has been carried out in the Bangladesh Police. A total of 53 officers have been transferred, including 19 Additional DIGs, 33 Superintendents of Police (SPs), and one Additional SP.

The transfers were announced on Thursday (February 27) through two separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Public Security, Police-1 Branch. The notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman.

According to one of the notifications, Additional DIG of Mymensingh Range Md. Abul Kalam Azad has been transferred to APBN-1 in Dhaka. Additionally, Additional DIG Sardar Rokonuzzaman of 8 APBN has been transferred to the CID, Kh. Faridul Islam of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)...
