Dhaka, Sept. 24 -- Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :
Police arrested at least five women who were on warrants for human trafficking in Bhairab of Kishoreganj on Monday night. One of the women is accompanied by a 4-month-old baby.
Officer in Charge (OC) of Bhairab model Police Station, Khandaker Fuad Ruhani conformed this matter.
OC also said that cases were filed against them in 2021,2023 and 2024 with Bhairab model police station, and Kishoreganj Court under the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act.
The arrested human traffickers are Farida Begum , Shahida Akhter , Sakhi Akhter, Anufa Begum and , and Janufa Begum. They were sent to Jail.
