Dhaka, Nov. 28 -- The Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) conducted an operation at Thakurganj border under West Chatnai Union of Dimla Upazila in Nilphamari and arrested Moti Mia (35), a truck driver.
Four Indian cows were sized. The operation was carried out on Wednesday at Jugirdanga Madrasa Mor, under the area of 51 BGB, Rangpur Battalion.
The arrested person, Moti Mia is the son of Amjadul Haque from Kaliganj village of the same union. During the operation, BGB seized four Indian cattle, one Nasimon truck, and a button phone.
According to BGB sources, the cattle were brought into Bangladesh illegally from India.
