Dhaka, Sept. 9 -- Testimony of 39 witnesses was concluded at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Monday in a case against deposed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun for crimes against humanity committed during the mass uprising in July, 2024.

The three-member panel of the ICT-1 led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder has fixed September 9 for recording the next testimony.

The detained ex-IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun gave testimony in the case before the tribunal as a state approver and the 36th witness.
