Dhaka, Nov. 15 -- The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Friday uncovered a crude bomb-making setup inside Geneva Camp in the capital's Mohammadpur area, seizing 35 crude bombs and a large cache of bomb-making materials.

Assistant Commissioner of DMP (Mohammadpur Zone) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the recovery, saying the explosives and raw materials were found on the rooftop of a building.Police sources said the bombs were being manufactured in a building next to the residence of suspected drug kingpin Bunia Sohel in Block 7 of Geneva Camp.

No arrests have been made yet, and a police operation is ongoing.Earlier, on 12 November, RAB recovered six petrol bombs and four crude bombs from the Rayerbazar Intellectuals' Graveyard area.
