Dhaka, June 19 -- At least 312 people were killed and 1,057 injured in several road accidents across the country during the 12-day Eid-ul-Azha holidays from June 3 to June 14, according to a report by the Road Safety Foundation (RSF).
The report marks a concerning 29.03% increase in fatalities compared to the same period last year, with an average of 26 deaths recorded each day.
Among the deceased were 47 women and 63 children, underlining the widespread and tragic impact of these accidents on families.
