Dhaka, Aug. 5 -- The 31-point plan announced by BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman is a blueprint for restoring democracy and people's voting rights in Bangladesh, said Chattogram City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain.
The mayor made this comment while handing over the calendar of the 31-point program to Chattogram Metropolitan BNP joint convener and former councilor Niaz Mohammad Khan at the mayor's office on Sunday (August 3). Dr. Shahadat said that it is not possible to fulfill the dreams of the people in the existing state structure.
