Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- The 30th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Coast Guard and 'Bangladesh Coast Guard Day-2025' will be observed in the country today in a befitting manner.

Marking the day, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus issued a message, extending greetings to all members of the coast guard, reports BSS.

In view of the importance of strengthening security in the blue economy and sovereign territorial waters of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Coast Guard was established in 1994 with the motto 'Guardian at Sea', said Dr Yunus in his message.
