Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- A three-year old baby was sexually abused by her neighbour in Dhaka's Kadamtoli area on Monday.
The victim was sent to a one-stop crisis centre today noon, after her family filed a case with Kadamtoli Police Station on Monday night.The accused, Kajol (20), a battery-run rickshaw puller, went into hiding after the incident.
Sub-inspector Imrul Hasan of Kadamtoli Police Station said the victim used to live with her day labourer father and housewife mother in a tin-shed house at Alam Market area.
As her parents were outside on Monday afternoon, Kajol went to her house and sexually assaulted her. Neighbours caught him red handed beat him. At one stage, he managed to escape, the SI said.
