Dhaka, Oct. 6 -- Three more deaths from dengue were reported in the 24 hours till Monday morning as Bangladesh continues to grapple with a surge in infections.
With the latest fatalities, the total number of deaths from the Qmosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh has risen to 215 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The new deaths were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and Khulna Division (outside city corporation).
During this period, 782 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, bringing the total number of cases to 50,689 so far this year. Currently, 851 patients are receiving treatment in Dhaka while a total of 2,473 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals acro...
