Dhaka, Nov. 6 -- Three motorcyclists were killed after being struck by a truck on the Khulna-Mongla Highway at Baburbaria under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Jamir Ijaddar (50), Mizan Bepari (45), and Haripada Roy (40), BNP activists from Rajnagar Union in Rampal Upazila. They were returning home on a motorcycle after attending a BNP meeting held at Balur Maidan in Rampal.
Eye-witnesses reported that as they reached the Baburbari area in the evening, a speeding truck violently collided with their motorcycle. As a result, all three riders died instantly at the scene.
