At least three farmers were killed and one injured in separate lightning strikes in Kishoreganj on Sunday afternoon The incidents occurred in Bhairab, Kuliarchar and Hossainpur upazilas around 4 pm on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Faisal Mia (28), son of Yunus Mia of Srinagar village in Bhairab , Faruk Mia (68) son of Afsar Uddin Mia in Rasulpur of Bhairab port town and Kabir Mia (25), son of Shafiqul Islam of Hazarinagar village in Kuliarchar upazila.Abu Bakar (60) of Araibaria village in Hossainpur upazila was injured.Locals said that it started raining with thunder at around 4 pm.
