Dhaka, March 6 -- Three persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in vandalism and looting of a house in the city's Gulshan, which belongs to former wife of Tanvir Imam, son of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's political advisor HT Imam, in the name of search, said a police press release.
The arrestees have been identified as Shakil Khandaker (24), his father Jewel Khandaker (48) and Shakil Ahmed (28), reports BSS.
Upon information that a huge amount of illegal money, weapons and Awami League associates were hidden in the Gulshan house, a gang of 20-25 people broke into the house under the pretext of 'search' and tried to vandalize and loot the house on Tuesday midnight, the release said.
