Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- Ashulia police have arrested three drug dealers, including a woman, in a raid in Ashulia. At that time, 260 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession.
They were arrested in front of the Nabinagar army auditorium in Ashulia on Thursday.
The arrested are Mamunur Rashid (45), son of the late Dabir Uddin of Imamganj area of Godagari upazila of Rajshahi, his wife Moshah Baby (33), and Shri Ranjit (30), son of Anil Sarkar of Goalanda area of Chapainawabganj district.
SI Mahmudur Rahman, in-charge of Nabinagar Memorial Camp, said that on Thursday evening, based on secret information, we came to know that heroin was being bought and sold in Nabinagar area.
