Dhaka, Aug. 10 -- Three more people have died from dengue fever over the past 24 hours, while 325 others have been hospitalised with the Aedes mosquito-borne disease across Bangladesh.

The latest data puts the overall caseload this year at 23,735, while the death toll now stands at 98.

Of the dengue-related fatalities recorded in the 24 hours until Saturday morning, two were reported at hospitals in Dhaka South City Corporation, and one in the Barishal Division. Authorities did not provide details about which age groups the latest fatalities belonged to and whether they had any comorbidities, reports bdnews24.com.
