Dhaka, Feb. 2 -- A three-day photo exhibition has been organised at the Drik Gallery in the capital to commemorate the participation of women in the July uprising.
A research organisation named "July Massacre Archive" has organized the exhibition which will run for three consecutive days starting from Saturday, reports BSS.
The exhibition has been arranged keeping in mind the transformation from a quota-reform movement to a movement to overthrow autocracy. It titled "A Journey Through July" features various still images of women's participation in the uprising.
A brief study of how the media in different countries of the world reported news during the "July Uprising" was also shown in the event.
