Dhaka, Sept. 6 -- After a year's break, the 24th edition of the Dhaka Film Festival will host the 'West Meets East Screenplay Lab' project for the fourth time.
The names of the 10 films selected for this project have been recently announced. Three Bangladeshi films have made it to the list.
The top 10 include Raka Nowshin Nowar's 'Mans Kom', Ahsan Samran's 'Betar' and Ashiq Ur Rahman's 'Jolchhobi'.
The film 'Betar' is written and directed by Ahsan Samran and produced by Emon Bin Anwar.
The film will tell the story of Bangladesh's social and political realities through satire.
The other films are Iran's 'The Sweet Berries', Nepal's 'Mountain of Spirit', Kazakhstan's 'Pay the Bill', Kyrgyzstan's 'The Husband', China's 'Sea Stands Still' ...
