Dhaka, Aug. 27 -- A total of 25 newly appointed judges of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court took their oaths of office on Tuesday.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at 1:40 pm at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court, where Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath. The event was conducted by Moyazzem Hossain, Registrar (Justice) of the High Court Division.
The newly sworn-in judges are: Supreme Court lawyers Md. Anwarul Islam (Shahin), Rajiu Uddin Ahmed, Faisal Hasan Arif, Md. Asif Hasan, Md. Ziaul Haque, Fatema Anwar, Abdur Rahman, Syed Hasan Jubair, and Urmi Rahman.
