Dhaka, July 17 -- Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said Thursday that 25 people have been arrested over Wednesday's violence surrounding a National Citizen Party (NCP) rally in Gopalganj, and that operations will continue until all those involved are brought to justice.
Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat, the adviser said 10 police personnel were injured in the clashes-two have already been admitted to the Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh, with three more en route from Gopalganj.
