Dhaka, June 23 -- The National Board of Revenue Board (NBR) has frozen the bank accounts of several showbiz stars on charges of tax evasion.According to a notification issued by Kazi Rehman Sazid, Assistant Tax Commissioner of Tax Region-12 on June 15, this action has been taken against a total of 25 celebrities of the country. The NBR has also published a notice to this effect, stating that a total of 25 bank accounts in the zone have been frozen.
