Dhaka, March 5 -- To strengthen security within the metro rail, two Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) police officers will be assigned to each train set (six coaches).
Additionally, adequate security personnel will be present at the stations. This measure will take effect starting Tuesday, as announced by MRT Police Inspector (Operations) Sujit Kumar Gomasta. The MRT police have been working since November 2023 to ensure the safety and security of both the metro rail and its stations.
