Dhaka, Nov. 10 -- An attack has been carried out on two journalists of 'Amar Desh' newspaper in Khulna City.
The attack took place under Sultan Dine Restaurant at Shibbari intersection in Khulna City on Saturday afternoon.
The injured are - Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and also Khulna Bureau Chief of Daily Amar Desh newspaper Ehteshamul Haque Shaon and staff reporter Kamrul Hossain Moni.
Eyewitnesses said that some miscreants suddenly attacked the mentioned journalists at around 4:30 pm on Saturday.
The incident has sparked a storm of anger and condemnation in the journalist community.
