Dhaka, July 21 -- Two crude bombs exploded near the venue of a BNP rally at Madbarbazar in Naria municipality area of the district.

A BNP faction led by Mohiuddin Ahmed Jintu, member of BNP National Executive Committee, organised a rally at Madbarbazar in Naria municipality area on Sunday, reports UNB.

A crude bomb went off near the rally venue around 11:30 am and another crude bomb exploded at the same spot around 4 am, creating panic among people as well as the leaders and activists of the party.

On information, police recovered some evidence of the explosion but no casualties or injuries have been reported yet.
