Dhaka, Sept. 11 -- Two individuals have been arrested with foreign liquor and yaba tablets by the Detective Branch (DB) police in Natore. The arrests took place around 6:30 AM on Wednesday in the Bonbelghoria area of the town.
The detainees have been identified as Sohel Rana, son of Kasim Uddin from Shibganjupazila in Chapainawabganj, and Amin Uddin, son of Jamal Uddin from the same upazila'sParchhoka village.Natore Superintendent of Police, Tariqul Islam, confirmed the incident. He stated that acting on intelligence, police set up a checkpoint and conducted a search on a passenger bus. During the operation, Sohel Rana was found in possession of 40 bottles of foreign liquor, while Amin Uddin was caught with 200 pieces of yaba tablets.
