Dhaka, July 23 -- The 18th National Wushu championship 2025, one of the most prestigious events in Bangladesh's martial arts calendar, commences today at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.

Organised by the Bangladesh Wushu Federation, the five-day-long Championship will continue until 27th July.

The official inauguration ceremony will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 11:00 AM, at the same venue.

Aminul Islam, NDC, Secretary of the National Sports Council, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The ceremony will be presided over by Major General A S M Ridwanur Rahman, AWC, AFWC, PSC, G and President of the Bangladesh Wushu Federation.
