Dhaka, July 25 -- Fifteen drivers from the office of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina were given plots in the capital's Jhilmil Residential Project under special consideration, according to findings from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC Director General Akhter Hossain shared the information on Thursday in a press briefing following a drive carried out at the PMO on Wednesday.
Each driver received either a 'three-katha' or 'five-katha' plot, the ACC official said. The project, however, was meant to award plots to individuals in four specific categories for their contributions to the state.
