Bangladesh, Feb. 8 -- Fourteen platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across Natore district to maintain law and order during the upcoming 13th Parliamentary Election and referendum. BGB personnel have been assigned to duty throughout the election period in coordination with the Army and other law enforcement agencies to ensure peaceful polling in the district's four parliamentary constituencies, reports BSS. According to official sources, two platoons of the BGB have been stationed at each of the seven upazila base camps in the district.
