Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has detained 11 Rohingyas during push-in into Bangladesh through the Khutamara border (near to Sonahat land port) of Baladia union in Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram. They were detained at around 6 am on Friday, (October 17) and handed over to the local thana police station. Bhurungamari Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Al Helal Mahmud confirmed the matter. The detainees are Myanmar national Rabiul Alam (20), Ismail Hossain's wife Amena Begum (28), son Aziz (15), Mohammad Abu (7), daughters Shafa (6), Rifa (9), Nur Alam's wife Rezia (21), and daughter Nur Shahida (2).
