Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Western global dominance is nearing its end and that a multipolar world order is steadily being consolidated. His remarks came during a keynote speech at the Valdai Discussion Club on Thursday.
Putin emphasized that the unipolar era, long dominated by Western powers, is giving way to a more balanced international system with multiple centers of influence. He argued that this shift marks a fundamental change in global politics.
In the main portion of his address, the Russian leader also declared that the era of political totalitarianism is over and claimed that the Western liberal model has failed to deliver on its promises.
