Bangladesh, Jan. 23 -- At a public awareness meeting on Referendum 2026, Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhtar has urged citizens to vote "Yes" in the upcoming national referendum and parliamentary election to rebuild the country and eradicate fascism.

Speaking on Wednesday at a referendum campaign and voter motivation rally held at Bhuihar Bus Stand, Kazipara Field, organized by the District Administration and Narayanganj Sadar, she said that a "Yes" vote could play a positive role in changing the destructive mindset of anti-democratic forces.
