Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- International Crimes Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam on Thursday stated that the UN report on the July uprising in Bangladesh serves as a solid document confirming crimes against humanity committed by the ousted Hasina government.
He emphasized the necessity of suspending officials or government forces against whom preliminary evidence of such crimes has been found.
Speaking at a press conference at the ICT, Tajul Islam noted that any such actions would be taken "in accordance with the law and under the guidance of the United Nations."
