Dhaka, Sept. 28 -- Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddinon Saturday said tourism must be seen as more than an economic tool, stressing its role in spreading purity, safety, family happiness and a sense of togetherness.
"Tourism is not merely about strengthening the economy," he said at the World Tourism Day 2025 programme at the Tourism Building in Agargaon in the city.
