Dhaka, Sept. 11 -- Rangpur's Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali said that a teacher cannot complete his duty by just teaching; the nation must be taken forward through knowledge acquisition and innovation. If the quality of research improves, the university's position will also be strengthened in the international arena.

He also said that the current government is giving utmost importance to improving the quality of higher education and research. Therefore, through this workshop, teachers will acquire new knowledge in the research process and methodological aspects and it will be reflected in the students.
