Dhaka, April 24 -- Education Adviser Professor Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar has assured students of the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) that their demands will be addressed within the next few days, as the government takes steps to restore normalcy on campus and the residential halls of the university. The halls will reopen this afternoon following a fresh decision made in the university's 102nd emergency syndicate meeting held yesterday.

Speaking during a visit to the university on Wednesday morning, where students have been observing a hunger strike, the advisor said, "The process is ongoing. The students' demands will be resolved soon. Those responsible for crimes on campus will be brought under the law."
