Dhaka, Oct. 11 -- BNP's Joint Secretary General of the National Executive Committee, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, has said that BNP is a universal and welfare-oriented political party that works for people of all religions, castes, and communities.
"BNP does not practise religion-based politics; rather, it seeks to spread peace and morality in society by prioritising religious values and cultural heritage," he said.
He made these remarks while addressing a Durga Puja reunion event held at the District Council Dak Bungalow premises in Dobaura upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday as part of a day-long programme.
BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince organised the reunion event following the Durga and Laxmi Puja celebrations.
