Dhaka, July 13 -- Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhtar on Saturday said the country has not yet fully emerged from the shadows of fascism, even after the fall of the fascist regime.
"On August 5, many young individuals, including children, sacrificed their lives in the struggle against fascism. The haunting scenes of people dying on hospital balconies remain vivid in our memory. Some lost limbs, others were killed by bullets. These sacrifices stand as a testament to the patriotism and bravery of our youth," she said.
