Dhaka, Aug. 18 -- Veteran freedom fighter and president of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, Bongobir Abdul Kader Siddique, (Bir Uttam), has warned that if national elections are not held by February 2026, the country could descend into a situation "worse than the current autocratic rule of the Awami League."Addressing a rally marking the historic Makrai Day on Saturday afternoon at Ghatail, Siddique issued a stern caution to the opposition BNP as well.
